On October 8, IESE’s New York Center hosted the U.S. Advisory Board Luncheon featuring a special session with Sandra Sieber, IESE Professor of Information Systems. The session, "Digital Society and Digital Business: Are you Ready?," discussed the growing mismatch between the capabilities and desires of technology-empowered individuals and the practices and habits of organizations and individuals in general.

Attendees included Thomas Kane, of CBS Corporation, Kate O’Sullivan of Microsoft, Gerry Byrne of Penske Media Corporation, as well as Eric Weber, Associate Dean of IESE Business School.

The IESE U.S. Advisory Board includes 22 U.S.-based business and civic leaders from diverse business sectors, as well as IESE Dean Jordi Canals. The Advisory Board’s aim is to support and guide IESE’s development in North America and keep the school’s leadership informed of the latest changes in the business landscape.

During the luncheon, members of the U.S. Advisory Board updated attendees of its current activities and discussed how IESE plans to continue its growth strategy in the U.S.
