From April 3-4, 2014, global executives and academics from the world’s top business schools will gather for the IESE Global Leadership Conference to outline how leadership development should adapt in order to tackle today’s challenges.

Globalization no longer is the issue at the top of the agenda, though it still very much characterizes the environment in which businesses around the world operate. Today’s leaders must also contend with complexity, uncertainty and volatility in their decision-making. In a world where companies in growth markets are rivaling MNCs and technology is exerting additional pressure on businesses to lower costs, innovation and entrepreneurship are becoming ever more relevant as leaders look to forge paths towards corporate growth.

With the participation of the IESE International Advisory Board, this year business school faculty from HBS, INSEAD, LBS, IMD, Saïd, HEC and CEIBS will join CEOs and other business leaders such as Isak Andic (Mango), Rosa García (Siemens), Bruno di Leo (IBM), Adrian Wooldridge (The Economist) and John Gapper (FT) to hash out how they think about leadership development and growth in today’s context.

The two-day conference will touch on a range of issues including how to integrate entrepreneurship and innovation into leadership development, how to emphasize critical thinking, the role of business schools in preparing leaders to take on these challenges, and the CEO’s innovation drivers in boosting corporate growth.
